The Officials Page is for T&F officials associated with the Athletes Officials Association. Currently a large percentage of officials in that organization are from the Bridgeport Area. The number of officials is declining in all sports including T&F. Over the past 6 years we have spent considerable time recruiting new officials from the Bridgeport community. Our efforts are paying off. We now have 12 certified officials from Bridgeport out of the 26 registered in the Athletes Association. However we still need more officials. The more officials we have the more organized and efficient our meets run. If you are interested in becoming an official or know someone who is please let me know.

Logo for Athletes T&F Officials Organization
I would like to come up with a logo for the Athletes T&F Officials Organization. Currently we are looking at several designs. Click here to see them: Officials Logos . There will be an officials meeting for the Athlete’s Track & Field Officials Association at Lewis County High School on Sunday afternoon, February 24, 2008 at 2:00pm. We will discuss the upcoming season as well as review the Part I Exam. If you know of any individuals who might be interested in becoming a track official please let them know about this meeting. Richard will be providing a clinic after the meeting for new officials. You may also send your name or the names of interested individuals to Richard at: rmessenger32@gmail.com
Richard will also be distributing current officials packets at the rules clinic meetings around the state. Our Rules Clinic will be at RCB on February 7th at 6:00pm.
